Faizan Akram is a Civil Engineer by profession and a community builder by passion. Originally from Pakistan and now based in Australia, Faizan has spent over a decade in leadership roles from student politics to national advocacy.\r\nHis journey began at Edith Cowan University, where he served as General Senator and later President of the ECU Student Guild. He also held national positions with the National Union of Students, championing the rights of thousands of students across Australia. But his commitment to representation didn’t stop there.\r\nAs the Founder and President of Inspire Pakistan, Faizan leads a movement focused on uniting, uplifting, and empowering the Pakistani community in Australia. Inspire Pakistan was born out of a need not just for another community group, but for a platform that genuinely reflects the diversity, strength, and potential of Pakistani Australians.\r\nUnder his leadership, Inspire Pakistan is not only creating space for cultural celebration but also encouraging, professional development, and youth leadership. The organisation actively connects individuals with resources, networks, and opportunities to grow.\r\nFaizan’s vision is bold yet simple: a Pakistani Australian community that is confident in its identity, active in its contributions, and visible in its leadership. Through events, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, he is helping shape a future where Inspire Pakistan becomes a bridge between generations, cultures, and institutions.\r\n\r\n
